Frequently Asked Questions

Regular and Glow splat sessions are 45 minutes. Private bookings (birthday, corporate, school/camp) include 45 minutes in the splat room plus 45 minutes in the party room (90 minutes total).

Wednesday to Friday is by appointment only. Saturday and Sunday accept both walk-ins and appointments. Hours are 11am to 7pm, Wednesday through Sunday.

Splat Session: $42 (ages 13+) / $31 (12 & under) Glow Session: $48 (13+) / $38 (12 & under)

Splat session packages are meant for one person. However, we welcome adults to accompany paid-for children during their splat session at no additional cost.

No. Chaperones and adults who are only watching (not splattering) are complimentary. We do have optional protective gear available to purchase for $5 in studio for those who are just supervising.

All bookings share the space unless it's specifically booked as a private party. Contact us for details.

Not at all everyone splats together in the same room!

We don't currently offer discounts on our pricing, including for nonprofits or large groups.

We'll accommodate larger groups with multiple back-to-back sessions, and party room access remains available throughout.

Standard time is 45 minutes splat + 45 minutes party room. We can sometimes accommodate additional time for corporate or school/camp bookings upon request, subject to availability.

Food and drinks are not permitted during regular splat sessions. If you've booked a private rental (birthday, corporate, school/camp), you're welcome to bring food, drinks, and decorations for the party room.

For regular sessions, we request cancellation at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made before the 24-hour mark receive a credit for future use; no cash refunds are provided. Failure to cancel within 24 hours results in forfeiture of the session payment. For group bookings (birthday, corporate, school/camp), deposits are non-refundable but can be rescheduled with advance notice.

Yes, if you notify us at least 48 hours before your event, we'll issue a credit for the reduction. Changes requested within 48 hours of the event (including day-of) are not eligible for a credit, regardless of how many guests are missing.

Yes, you can add guests anytime, including the day of your event, as long as space allows.

Yes, if you're running late, we offer a 15-minute grace period.

No minimum age! We just ask parents to keep a closer eye on kids 12 and younger. Parents/guardians are welcome to stay in the room, or watch from hallway seating — optional protective gear is also available to purchase for $5 in studio for supervising adults.

You are responsible for the supervision of your own children.

Just a few safety no-brainers: no splashing water, no running at high speeds, and no tracking paint outside the studio. No throwing paint on someone else's canvas unless they've given you permission.

Yes! All session types (individual, birthday, corporate, school/camp) are available as a Glow N Dark version, held in a blacklight setting. Booking and cancellation policies are the same as the standard version.

All packages include a canvas for you to paint on. The walls are fair game... and maybe even each other!

We use high quality, non-toxic acrylic paint.

Yes, it may. We provide protective raincoats and shoe covers for all painters. Soak your clothing immediately once you get home, or come dressed in clothes you don't mind getting stained!

Dipped N Color Splat Studio is a DIY zone. We don't conduct structured classes on a regular basis, but our hosts give a brief intro at the start and are happy to share tips or methods if you ask!

We provide a box for you to take home the same day. Let it dry for 24 hours before handling.
